When I was 16 years old, my friend and I tried our best to get the proper lyrics of the gospel song Where no one Stands Alone from a cassette recording by my uncle Joel Tingbaoen but were unsuccessful. What we did was to sing the song without the correct lyrics.
When I recorded this song at the church on October 19, even if I have the proper lyrics in front of me, the recording wasn't accurate because I still remember how we used to sang, and I inadvertently sang the way we used to. Click below to hear the song. You will spot a few error in the lyrics.
Take Two....
WHERE NO ONE STANDS ALONE (LYRICS)
Once I stood in the night with my head bowed low
In the darkness, as black as could be
And my heart felt alone
And I cried oh Lord
Don't hide your face from me
Hold my hand all the way
Every hour every day
From here to the grave
I know
Take my hand
Let me stand
Where no one stands alone
Like a king I may live in a palace so tall
With great riches to call my own
But I dont know a thing
In this whole wide world
Thats worse then being alone
